FORK IN THE ROAD (CHOICE)

May be not at seven or seventeen years of age but...... 37...., 57..., 77...., 97...... Years, decades after decades pass by us and we keep sinking deeper and deeper in our own undoing, that is, the MIND. The independently intelligent operating system capable of identifying possibilities and choosing from them or the MIND, which was supposed to make our life beautiful by presenting to us the arcade of choices available and hence escalate us to higher and higher pedestals of life opening up further and further new possibilities by helping us make the right CHOICES has become our own self made prison of incapability’s and inability to correctly identify choices. But how has such a blunder come to happen???
The operating software of our life (MIND) which was supposed to have filled our lives with joy, enrich it with possibilities and help us experience more and more beauty and hence leading us to further and further higher pedestals of existence seems to be doing just the opposite!!!! (That seems to be a universal experience without any exception)
To understand what went wrong? Where? And how? Of this paradoxical situation (paradox, because the mind which was supposed to be the greatest blessing and source of joy has become the biggest annoyance) we need to have a closer look at the “MIND-BODY ORGANISM” (or the human being) and it’s functioning.
Human beings as we like to connote ourselves, are not just the body or the mind, nor are they just a mind in the body, they, rather we, actually are “MIND-BODY ORGANISMS”. That is the actions and functions of the body affect the mind and the actions and functions of the mind affect the mind. The functions, actions and responses of both the mind and the body are mutually interlinked.
For example if we were to taste very bad food (which is a simple perception, physical gustatory action, of the tongue) we will experience a sense of irritation or anger or discontentment etc...(Which are mental activities or the responses of the mind) similarly if we were very upset due to any particular reason (which is a mental faculty) we would not experience any pleasurable taste in the food served to us no matter how delectable it may be (which is a simple perception, physical gustatory action, of the tongue).
So we see that, as hinted in THE BLUE PRINT APPLIED section, our mind and bodies are mutually intertwined ,and so much so, that we have completely lost the understanding that they still are two entities (mutually dependent and interrelated though). We also need to familiarize ourselves with the concept of INTELLIGENCE and EXPRESSION OF INTELLIGENCE in these two spaces (that is the mind and the body)
INTELLIGENCE pervades our entire system. How the bread we eat become the blood that flows, the bones that hold us, the muscles that move us and much much more is beyond our comprehension and yet it happens so smoothly and silently that we are virtually oblivious to it. We don’t even bother (neither there is any need to) that how all this would happen, all we do is just eat food and forget about it. How the heart continues to beat incessantly? How the lungs filter out the carbon dioxide and take in oxygen continuously? How the mind makes sense out of sights, sounds and actions? All these and many more questions we have never bothered to bother ourselves with!!!!
Answers apart, but all these questions themselves prove one thing for sure that there is an INNATE INTELLIGENCE running our bodies without our permission or knowledge. This INNATE INTELLIGENCE functions in our body via media the same four cosmic forces, which are CREATION, MAINTENANCE, CONSTANT CHANGE (EVOLUTION) and REJUVENATION (DEATH). This expression of universal intelligence, unhindered, without and independent of our knowledge or permission is called the INNATE INTELLIGENCE.

  1. That's very interesting.. although I'm an engineering student, I have always been intrigued as well as perplexed by the human brain.

I also believe that choices actually exposes one's limitations in adjusting to our surroundings and creates discontent in us. Only those who like certain things are faced with dilemmas and those who accept gracefully, whatever life throws at them, they are free from making choices.
